The Pizzo surname has been one of the most common in Bastia for centuries. Grandfather Agostino, known to everyone as "Perinetti", after the dark years of captivity, returned home and married grandmother Gemma from Garlenda. Thanks to their hard work during the economic boom, in the late 1960s they purchased a plot of land in the Villa district of Bastia, where they built a home and several small villas, leaving behind the old family house in Piazza del Carmine.
In the early 2000s, father Paolo together with mother Graziella renovated and expanded the property, surrounding it with a garden of fruit trees, olive trees, the family vegetable plot, and the pool that is now the heart of summer here.
Now, after years of life lived in this house, we have decided to open our doors to guests. We want to share the tranquillity and beauty of this place with those looking for an authentic experience, far from the chaos, yet close to everything.
A real family, not a company. We welcome you with warmth.
Every space is designed with your comfort and wellbeing in mind.
We are always available for advice and assistance.
Sustainability for us is not a slogan, but a concrete choice. The villa is powered by solar photovoltaic panels that cover most of its energy needs. We have installed a high-efficiency heat pump for heating and cooling.

Our family has been part of Bastia for generations. We know every alley, every local producer, every festival that brings the village to life. The wine we drink comes from nearby cellars, the olive oil from local mills, and the focaccia at breakfast is from the bakery just down the road.
When you come here, you are not just guests: you become part of our community, even if only for a few days. And you will take home the true taste of Liguria.
